Keeogo Robotics Training Center Opens - Offers Rehabilitation Technology for Stroke and Nerve Injury Patients

B-Temia Asia (BTA), Wistron Medical Technology Corporation (WMT), and Rehabotics Medtech have sealed a collaboration to launch the first Keeogo ASEAN Robotics Training Center (RTC) in Malaysia.

This training center introduces rehabilitation technology that actively plays a role in increasing survival rates for patients with neurological disorders.

Based on the agreement between these three companies, they are working together to build RTCs nationwide to provide facilities and access to technology for stroke and nerve injury patients.

Starting with the first RTC center opened in PJ Midtown Petaling Jaya, all rehabilitation equipment has been provided—not only advanced and top-of-the-line but also tailored to improve the daily quality of life for those in need.

Keeogo, short for "Keep on Going," is a unique technology used at the Keeogo Robotics Training Center. Compared to other robots in the same category, Keeogo is the only commercially available Dermoskeleton. It is not only lightweight but also flexible and provides safe, personalized active training.

Among the technologies introduced by Keeogo are smart motorized orthoses. These robots help patients with lower limb mobility issues regain their ability to move and walk, even after life-altering complications.

Meanwhile, Mirror Hand is designed to treat patients with neuromuscular disorders and diseases that lead to permanent loss of hand function. This wearable hand frame guides the affected hand to train basic movements using mirror therapy. Impressively, it trains users to interact with real objects by combining passive continuous movement (CPM) with bilateral training mechanisms.
